Overview of the U District Street Fair
The U District Street Fair holds the title of the longest-running festival of its kind in the country. Established in 1970 and inspired by the community activism of the late 1960s, it traditionally marks the start of Seattle's summer festival season. The event takes over 15 bustling blocks along University Way NE ("The Ave"), extending from Campus Parkway to NE 50th Street. It attracts huge crowds, with more than 90,000 visitors over a single weekend. This year, 33imports will once again be part of the lively atmosphere of the fair.
